To Stir - MissPompadour Stirring sticks

It's actually just a piece of smooth wood with the unmistakable MissPompadour logo. Its most important task is to evenly distribute the pigments in the colour by stirring. What different objects have not been misappropriated for this task! From a wooden spoon to a Chinese chopstick, from a piece of mixing wood that is guaranteed to leave splinters in the paint to a quickly softening cardboard roll from the inside of kitchen towels. Most of the time, this doesn't work well at all and often these misused items can't be used after. We at MissPompadour have therefore developed a sturdy, small wooden stick. It is made from FSC-certified birch wood and is 27 cm long. This practical little tool will help you with many painting tasks. Here are a few ideas:

When painting, it is always important to draw straight lines. Put the swizzle stick in place and simply paint along the straight edge. It doesn't matter if paint lands on the wooden stick. If you want to maintain even spacing when stencilling, for example, help yourself by drawing a mark on your matchstick.

Do you want to remove your adhesive tape even though the varnish is already quite dry? Place a stirring stick on the edge of the adhesive tape and run a cutter knife along it. This will reliably prevent you from tearing off any paint in addition to the adhesive tape.

How about storing a used stirring stick after painting? Make a note of the colour shade and furniture or room where it was used on the wooden stick. Over time, this will create a collection of colours you have used, which you can call up at any time.By the way, if you want to put your brush down for a moment while painting, simply place it with the trim on your paint stick. This keeps the colour away from the surface.
