To Stencil - Stencil brush 16mm

If you want to work with stencils, you need a matching stencil brush. These special brushes are round and the bristles are cut straight. They form a smooth surface that absorbs the paint and serves as a stamp. Before you press the stencil onto your work, moisten the MissPompadour stencil brush with as little paint as possible. In this way you prevent excess paint from running under the stencil and destroying the motif. Then "poke" the To Stencil onto the stencil at a right angle. This is how you print the motif onto the surface.

To Stencil in 16mm, a sustainable product

The blunt, round To Stencil in 16mm has a trim of bleached natural bristles. They are very sturdy so that they cannot bend when stencilling. Its ferrule is made of aluminium. It holds the bristles securely in place. The cone handle is made of beech wood, which is sustainably sourced in Europe. For all its lightness, it is extremely stable and lies well in the hand. By the way, you can clean the brush easily with warm water and soap. And so it can be used again and again. Of course, all our brushes are made in Germany. And so they meet all the requirements for quality, durability, environmentally friendly materials and short transport routes.

Working with the To Stencil in 16mm

If you are interested in working with stencils, you should definitely read the corresponding blog in our shop. Here we have described in detail how stencilling works. In the shop you will also find a large selection of interesting stencils with motifs for every interior style. By the way, the MissPompadour stencil brush 12mm is also suitable for working with pasty media such as wax. We offer it in another size: 12mm. The high-quality wax and stencil brushes are handmade in Germany by trained brush makers and are designed for the toughest conditions of use. The fill material is natural pig bristle. Despite the most careful workmanship, it can happen, especially during the first applications, that the brush loses bristles or bristles break off. The reason for this is that pig's bristle has a brittle texture when dry and only gains a certain suppleness through frequent use. Please clean the brush after each use. We hope you enjoy using your quality brush made in Germany
