MissPompadour plastic drop cloth

If you want to paint walls, ceilings or furniture, it is important to prepare the workplace well beforehand. Before you start painting, the floor and surrounding area must be protected with appropriate protective film. This will save you the extra work of cleaning a dirty environment. That's why you need a sturdy plastic drop cloth.

The MissPompadour tarpaulin measures 4m x 5m, so you can cover an area of some size with this plastic drop cloth. One of the great advantages of our paint is that it does not splatter. Nevertheless, you should play it safe with plastic drop cloth. After all, all it takes is one drop of paint on the floor that you accidentally step on to cause annoying stains.

If you are painting a ceiling, you should definitely use plastic drop cloth. It also makes sense to use a plastic drop cloth when painting furniture. Even if you want to paint the tiles in your bathroom, it's best to cover the sanitaryware with our MissPompadour drop cloth.

Plastic drop cloth made of plastic - is it necessary?

Even with something as seemingly unimportant as plastic drop cloth, it is essential for us that the quality is right. Because only with high-quality tools can you really enjoy painting and ultimately achieve a good result.

It is important to us that the plastic drop cloth is stable. It has to be able to withstand a lot when people walk over it or place a ladder on it. And, of course, the drop cloth has to hold tight, even if a bucket of paint falls over. Unfortunately, to date only a sheet made of sturdy plastic can fulfil these requirements. We have therefore decided to use film made of LDPE material.

Advantages of LDPE film

LDPE film is a water-repellent, insulating plastic made from ethylene. The material is light, soft and at the same time very stable. This material is therefore particularly suitable for plastic drop clothn. Above all, however, LDPE film is recyclable, meaning that the tarpaulin material can be reused.

We sustainably offset plastic

We also sustainably offset our - still - unavoidable plastic consumption. We work together with the innovative start-up everwave to achieve this. For every kilo of plastic sold in the MissPompadour online shop, everwave removes 1 kg of plastic waste from the world's waters. Using AI-controlled processes, the waste in oceans and estuaries is recorded, analysed and then collected. The collected material is then recycled using environmentally friendly processes. everwave works with more than 130 renowned companies worldwide.
