The Functional Wall Paint emphasises stability and durability. As an impact and abrasion-resistant wall paint, it is similar to a latex paint and is resistant to all types of soiling. This makes it suitable for all heavily used walls in children's rooms, kitchens or stairwells. This wipeable matt wall paint has a smooth but non-glossy surface texture.
Washable & dirt-repellent
Dirt and stains can't harm it! The Functional Wall Paint has wet abrasion class 1, so you can easily wipe it off with a damp cloth. This is a particular advantage with light colour shades. This robust, hard-wearing paint is ideal for your interior walls. The wall paint is abrasion-resistant, impact-resistant, hard-wearing and also beautiful to look at.
Low odour & drip-free
Masking and covering the whole flat as the first step when painting? Nope - with our low-odour and splash-resistant wall paints, you can paint without spilling and without staining floors and furniture. That means "just paint".
Breathable paint
The Functional Wall Paint has a medium water vapour permeability (class V2), although it is a hard-wearing paint. Despite the excellent robustness and wet abrasion resistance of class 1, it is therefore open to diffusion.

MissPompadour Rose with Brown is a light terracotta colour shade. It can also be described as a "pink for adults". As a varnish, this cosy colour shade is perfect for painting tiles. In combination with Orange with Rust and perhaps a dark brown, the warm colour shade can also be used to stencil tiles.
As a wall paint, this friendly shade of rose has nothing little-girlish about it. It can be found in plaster and on roofs in southern climes. This is why this cosy colour also harmonises particularly well with light and dark natural woods. Combine it with light-coloured pine or dark walnut, for example. If you love a Mediterranean furnishing style, you can use this attractive, warm colour on all the walls in a room. It is not too dark and creates a cosy atmosphere. Returns
Sometimes it happens that the colour is more plentiful than you thought. If you have unopened tins that you want to send back to us, simply contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for the return costs, as we try to minimise returns for reasons of sustainability.
Water-based
All our colours, varnishes and additional products are water-based. For you, this means that you can easily wash them off your hands, brushes and rollers with water.
Minimal VOC content
For a stable paint and varnish finish, you don't have to use paints with solvents that are harmful to the environment and your health. Apply our paints without additional protective measures - because while the varnishes contain the lowest possible amount of VOCs, our wall paints are even VOC-free.

This diffusion-open paint with acrylate-based binders is similar to a latex paint. It is wet-washable and resistant to wet abrasion (class 1). Surfaces painted with it are resistant to water-soluble cleaning agents and disinfectants. The Functional Wall Paint is easy to apply and VOC free. However, its fantastic colour brilliance is particularly impressive. It is also easy to paint over again. This paint can be used to attractively design extremely hard-wearing walls in both private and professional areas. Preparation and application: Stir the paint well and apply at temperatures from 8 °C. The paint is applied to plaster and textured wallpaper using a roller and brush. Spraying is possible after dilution with max. 10 % water. Always apply 2 coats of paint so that it can fully develop its opacity. Coverage: 1 litre of The Functional Wall Paint is sufficient for approx. 7-9 m2 with two coats. Coverage and coverage depend on the condition of the substrate. Drying time: Dust-dry after 1 hour - can be painted over after 6 hours. Can be firmly wiped off after approx. 28 days. Shelf life: At 5-25 °C approx. 2-3 years, store frost-free and tightly closed. Questions & Answers
How do I use The Functional Wall Paint?
Stir the paint carefully after opening the tin so that the pigments are evenly distributed. Then pour some of the paint into a paint tray that matches the width of your paint roller. Apply the wall paint to the wall with even wet-on-wet movements. Make sure that the roller is always well filled with paint. Use a brush to paint any areas that you cannot reach with the paint roller. We recommend that you always apply 2 coats, even if the wall paint covers the first time. Only then will you get the perfect finish and vibrant depth of colour.
Tip: While you interrupt your work, you can wrap your tools in cling film. This will keep everything moist until the second coat.
If you are painting very large areas and empty rooms, you can also work with a paint sprayer. To do this, dilute the paint with approx. 10 % water.
When do I need to prime The Functional Wall Paint?
In most cases, you will achieve a perfect result with the second coat, as The Functional Wall Paint has a high covering power. However, priming is necessary on some walls. For example, walls in old buildings may have old stains from soot or ink. Pre-paint these with our MissPompadour Primer - To Bond & Block. It effectively locks in odours and stains. If you are painting a highly absorbent surface such as plasterboard, we recommend preparing the wall beforehand with our MissPompadour - To Prime Walls wall primer.
