MissPompadour Rose with Brown
MissPompadour Rose with Brown is a light terracotta colour shade. It can also be described as a "pink for adults". As a varnish, this cosy colour shade is perfect for painting tiles. In combination with Orange with Rust and perhaps a dark brown, the warm colour shade can also be used to stencil tiles.
As a wall paint, this friendly shade of rose has nothing little-girlish about it. It can be found in plaster and on roofs in southern climes. This is why this cosy colour also harmonises particularly well with light and dark natural woods. Combine it with light-coloured pine or dark walnut, for example. If you love a Mediterranean furnishing style, you can use this attractive, warm colour on all the walls in a room. It is not too dark and creates a cosy atmosphere. Rose with Brown also goes perfectly with the darker Brown with Terracotta and Green with Mud.

Returns
Sometimes it happens that the colour is more plentiful than you thought. If you have unopened tins that you want to send back to us, simply contact our customer service team within 14 days of receiving the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for the return costs, as we try to minimise returns for reasons of sustainability.
Water-based
All our colours, varnishes and additional products are water-based. For you, this means that you can easily wash them off your hands, brushes and rollers with water.
Minimal VOC content
For a stable paint and varnish finish, you don't have to use paints with solvents that are harmful to the environment and your health. Apply our paints without additional protective measures - because while the varnishes contain the lowest possible amount of VOCs, our wall paints are even VOC-free.
Suitable for toys
Our paints and varnishes are characterised by their safety for children. Paint your child's room, kitchen, rocking horse or children's furniture with them, as they do not release any toxic substances when they come into contact with saliva.

Questions & Answers
How do I use Eggshell Varnish?
After opening the can, stir the varnish carefully so that the pigments are evenly distributed. Then pour some of the varnish into a paint tray. Now apply the varnish evenly and not too thickly with a brush or paint roller. For large surfaces such as wooden ceilings or garden sheds, you can also use a paint sprayer. Thin the varnish with max. 10% water.
Let the varnish dry for about 4 hours or overnight. Then apply a second coat of paint. We recommend that you apply two coats, even if the varnish covers the first time. This way the paint layer will be thicker and last longer!
For surfaces such as floor tiles that need to be cleaned often, you should also seal the varnish. Use To Seal - MissPompadour Topcoat forthis . After a few hours, you can carefully walk on the painted surfaces again. After approx. 14 days, the varnish is completely hardened.
Tip: Wrap the paint tray, paint brush and Rollers in cling film while the paint is drying. Then everything stays moist until the second coat.
When do I need to prime or seal varnish?
In most cases, you can achieve a perfect result with MissPompadour Rose with Brown as an Eggshell Varnish alone - without priming or sealing. Old paints can usually be painted over without sanding if the old layers of paint are still sufficiently stable.
Sometimes, however, priming is necessary. To Bond & Block- MissPompadour primer is perfect for many surfaces. Prime stained, discoloured wood or wood with many knotholes with it to create an even base for the Eggshell Varnish. It acts as a stainblock to protect against bleeding wood.
If you want to work on very smooth surfaces made of glass, tiles or plastic, we recommend precoating with To Bond & Block to make your paint stick better.
You should also prime metal paintsif the metal is unpainted or the varnish has flaked off. If the metal is raw iron or rusty, use a rust-proofing primer before priming.
If you want to paint silicone joints in the bathroom or kitchen, prime them first with To Seal Silicone - MissPompadour Silicone Sealer, otherwise the paint will not adhere to silicone. The varnish can then adhere well to a prepared surface.
You should finish the painting of very hard-wearing surfaces such as floors, steps, handrails or similar with our To Seal - MissPompadour Topcoat
