The MissPompadour Stencil Beijing
Our designers have created an enchantingly romantic motif with the Beijing stencil. Who wouldn't want to decorate their walls with these little nightingales sitting on flowering branches? The stencil Beijing is a beautiful pattern for a conservatory, a dining room or a romantic shabby chic interior. You can place individual birds on a wall or create a border with lots of nightingales. If you like a romantic bathroom, you can also print this motif on individual tiles. Wherever you use the stencil Beijing, it makes a great appearance and impresses with its romantic and filigree silhouette.
Using the stencil Beijing on the wall
When applying patterns to the wall with stencils, it is very important to work perpendicularly. Even if you only want to apply a single motif to the wall, the stencil should be applied perfectly horizontally and vertically. The best way to do this is to use a spirit level and draw thin lines on the wall with a soft pencil. They can easily be erased again at the end. Especially with romantic motifs such as the Beijing stencil, it can have a great effect if you choose the colour shade just one shade darker than the base colour. This makes the motif appear subtle and shadowy on the wall.
Using the MissPompadour Stencil Beijing on tiles in the bathroom
The romantic bird motif of the Beijing stencil is also ideal if you want to emphasise individual tiles in the bathroom. You can print the motif directly onto the tile. Just make sure that the tiles are clean, dry and absolutely grease-free. It makes sense to wash them with To Clean from MissPompadour beforehand. Then use the varnish from MissPompadour in Eggshell Varnish quality. The colour is best dabbed vertically onto the stencil with a stencil brush. It is important to fill the brush with as little colour as possible. Otherwise the colour could run behind the stencil. Leave the varnish to dry for 14 days, after which it is waterproof.
