The advantages of bamboo

The handle of the EcoUnion stain brush is not made of plastic or wood, but of bamboo. And bamboo really is a material with a future. First of all, bamboo is not wood, but grass. So no trees need to be felled, just extremely fast-growing grass harvested. Bamboo is, incidentally, the fastest growing plant in the world. Fortunately, it also thrives in relatively unfriendly environments where other plants don't stand a chance. And where without bamboo there would simply be wasteland. Bamboo is also biodegradable without leaving any residue. It goes without saying that a bamboo handle feels wonderful in the hand and is much kinder to the skin than plastic.

The brush frame of our sustainable brush is made from recycled metal. Reusing old metal is an important step towards sustainable production. The bristles of the brush are firmly anchored in this metal frame. And these fine bristles, which are absolutely fixed and remain so during painting, are made from recycled polyester. This trim absorbs stain or paint well and releases it evenly. After use, you can clean the brush with warm water and our great brush soap and reuse it many times.
