The stencil Vienna

Our designer was inspired to design the stencil Vienna during a stroll through the Austrian capital. In Vienna, almost every corner has a magnificent building that reminds us of the artistic development that took place at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. During this time, architects and artists created something completely new, which was called Art Nouveau. And you can conjure up this lively style in any room with the beautiful floral stencil Vienna. The design is particularly suitable for tiles on floors and walls.

How do I use the stencil Vienna?

The best way to apply the paint is with a stencil brush. These brushes are round and flattened at the tip. Simply order the special brush in the shop. Use it to dab the colour vertically onto the stencil. Make sure that the brush does not contain too much liquid so that the paint cannot run behind the stencil. By the way, you can use our stencils with all MissPompadour chalk paints. Depending on the surface, you can work with wall paints as well as with varnishes.

Which chalk paint suits stencil Vienna?

First, paint the tiles with the base colour, which forms the base for painting. It is important that the base is thoroughly dry before stenciling. To keep the stencils perpendicular to the wall or tiles, we recommend marking vertical and horizontal lines inconspicuously with a pencil before stenciling. If you want to stencil a tiled floor, use our MissPompadour Eggshell Varnish. After stenciling, the paint should be sealed. If you are stencilling a wall, use wall paints such as our MissPompadour The Valuable Wall Paint.
