stencil Brasilia

After the foundation of the Brazilian capital, the huge national park Brasilia was created very close to it. The futuristic city of Brasilia is characterised by its simply monumental, architectural modernity. In contrast, the national park, which begins at the city limits, is famous for its infinite variety of plants and animals. This contrast, or connection, inspired our designer when she created the stencil Brasilia. The simple, modern design is evoked by stylised leaves that cover the entire motif. You can use stencil Brasilia as a border, but it is also suitable for tiles. The clear yet lively design language of stencil Brasilia fits particularly well into a modern ambience.

Create a border with stencil Brasilia

When drawing a border, it is extremely important to work exactly perpendicular. That's why it's best to use a spirit level to draw thin lines on the wall with a soft pencil. These can be easily erased later. Then place the stencil at an even distance from the wall. The dots on the stencils will help you to do this. Then dab the paint vertically onto the stencil with a stencil brush. Make sure that the brush always contains as little paint as possible. Otherwise the paint could run behind the stencil, causing blurred contours.

The stencil Brasilia on tiles

Of course, this attractive, rather modern motif is also wonderfully suitable for working on tiles. To do this, use the chalk varnish instead of the wall emulsion. The best way to do this is with the varnish Eggshell Varnish from MissPompadour. This varnish adheres well to even the smoothest surfaces. You can always wipe it off with a damp cloth afterwards. Only on the floor should you seal painted tiles with the Topcoat from Painting the Past.
