Stencil Stockholm

For all those who love the Scandinavian style of furnishing, there is now a real alternative to the stencil Gothenburg: the stencil Stockholm. This motif has clear, geometric shapes that go wonderfully with the simplicity of an interior with light furniture and natural colours. Use stencil Stockholm on the floor, whether it is a wooden floor or tiles. This design also creates a great effect as a border on the wall. Especially with a strong colour contrast such as Black and White or white decor on a beautiful shade of blue, such as Blue with Midnight as the background, this design looks extremely attractive.

The application of stencil Stockholm on tiled floors

First of all, you should clean the floor tiles well. They must be free of dust and grease. Then paint the tiles with the desired base colour, which then forms the base for painting. It is best to use our Eggshell Varnish from MissPompadour. For easier work on the floor, you can extend a roller with a broom handle. Always paint twice. Afterwards, the varnish must dry thoroughly before you start stencilling. Hold the stencil firmly and apply the paint vertically with a stencil brush. Once the stencil application has dried, the last step is to seal the paint with a topcoat. After that, the tiles are stable and you can wear them out, wet them and clean them with gentle cleaning agents.

The application of stencil Stockholm on wood

The stencil Stockholm is also perfect for stencilling wood. Maybe you'll give a tabletop or your cupboard doors a whole new look with this stencil. This interesting, two-dimensional motif looks particularly good on furniture. To stencil on wood you also need our water-based varnishes. On open wood and rough surfaces you can also work with wax.
