The MissPompadour stencil Buenos Aires on wall tiles

The discreet, rather restrained motif of the stencil Buenos Aires is particularly suitable for printing on square tiles. This works just as well on the wall as on floor tiles. To stencil wall tiles, we recommend the Eggshell Varnish-varnish quality from MissPompadour. It adheres excellently to tiles. Especially if the tiles have a very smooth surface. You can first paint the tiles with the desired base colour. Then apply the pattern with stencil Buenos Aires in a contrasting colour. If you like the basic colour of your tiles, you can of course stencil the design directly onto the tile. After applying the paint, allow it to dry thoroughly. You don't need to finish it afterwards.

The stencil Buenos Aires on floor tiles

The pretty pattern of stencil Buenos Aires is also a real eye-catcher on the floor. For floor tiles, you also paint the base colour over the entire surface first. Then allow the paint to dry thoroughly and start stencilling. With stencil Buenos Aires, you can also work wonderfully with two different stencilling colours. However, you need a little time and patience for this. The first stencil colour has to dry well before you can start with the second colour. But you will be rewarded with a great result. Finally, you should stabilise the painting on floor tiles with the topcoat from Painting the Past.

You can also decorate drawers on a chest of drawers or a tabletop with stencil Buenos Aires. For this you can use our water-based varnishes MissPompadour Eggshell Varnish and Matt Varnish. On open wood and rough surfaces, you can also work with wax.
