LittlePomp chalk varnish
*VOC free: All white colours and base colours are solvent-free. Depending on the selected colour, the base paint used and the colour pastes, the product may contain a small amount of VOCs, i.e. a maximum of a few grams per litre.
Technical information
Processing:
- Particularly easy to use as it is water-based and has a very wide range of applications
- Application with brush with synthetic or natural hair, paint roller
- Clean tools with soap and water
- from 10 °C ambient and substrate temperature, relative humidity max. 85% RH.
- Coverage of approx. 8 m2/litre (6 m2/can), depending on the absorbency of the substrate
Application recommendations:
Painting very smooth surfaces- Preparation: Clean the substrate thoroughly. Remove wax layers, silicone-containing impurities, grease layers
- Priming: Apply a thick, well-covering coat of MissPompadour To Bond & Block. Can be painted over after approx. 3 hours
- Top coat: Top coat with LittlePomp chalk varnish, recoatable after 2 hours. Depending on the colour shade and substrate, several coats may be necessary
- topcoat: In case of extreme stress, a transparent topcoat with MissPompadour To Seal or a transparent wax is possible
Painting untreated wood
- Preparation: Clean the surface thoroughly. Remove wax layers, silicone-containing impurities, grease layers
- Priming: Some types of wood (softwoods, tropical woods, oak) can cause discolouration due to bleeding of wood constituents. In this case, apply a thick, thoroughly covering coat of MissPompadour To Bond & Block. Can be painted over after approx. 8 hours
- Top coat: Top coat with littlePomp chalk varnish, recoatable after 2 hours. Depending on the colour shade and substrate, several coats may be necessary
- topcoat: In case of extreme stress, a transparent topcoat with MissPompadour To Seal or a transparent wax is possible
Painting coated wood and metal
- Preparation: Clean the substrate thoroughly. Remove wax layers, silicone-containing contaminants and grease layers. Sand off damaged varnish layers
- Prime the surface: Apply a thick, well-covering coat of MissPompadour To Bond & Block. Can be painted over after approx. 3 hours
- Top coat: Top coat with LittlePomp chalk varnish, recoatable after 2 hours. Depending on the colour shade and substrate, several coats may be necessary
- topcoat: In case of extreme stress, a transparent topcoat with MissPompadour To Seal or a transparent wax is possible
