Beige is a popular wall paint, but the colour shade is also often used as a coloured paint. Anything made of wood, but also metal surfaces, stone and concrete. Tiles on walls and floors, plastic surfaces and even textiles can also be embellished with beige. And this applies not only inside the house, but also outside.
There are many painting projects inside a house where beige varnish can be used. Is your wooden ceiling very yellowed? A very light beige colour shade such as Beige with Cashmere or White with Ginger would be recommended here. A staircase in the house can also be given a new finish with a neutral beige paint.
When you think of coloured varnish, you probably think of furniture varnish first, and vintage furniture in particular is often finished with beige varnish. Because with a little beige colour, you can give unsightly old furniture a new look. Old furniture is often of good quality and workmanship, so it would be a shame to dispose of it. Old furniture can also be given a wonderful shabby look by painting it with a very light beige colour such as White with Vanilla.
For difficult surfaces (such as bleeding wood), it is a good idea to prime before painting to ensure an even surface. Use the MissPompadour Primer To Bond & Block to ensure that your beige varnish adheres well. After priming, the surface is treated with the lacquer colour. Once it has dried, you can sand out corners, edges and pilaster strips to achieve a beautiful vintage look.
But you can also give modern furniture with smooth surfaces a new look with beige furniture paint. Whether your piece of furniture is made of wood or plastic veneer, beige coloured lacquer in beige tones gives it a soft colour that blends into any ambience.
Furniture made of wicker or rattan is also given special protection by painting it with beige wood colour. Especially when used outdoors, it is important to treat wicker furniture with a beige varnish that is weather-resistant and stable. If you are planning painting projects with varnish in a beige colour shade inside the house, it is important to ensure that the varnish (like all MissPompadour varnish variants) is low-odour.
You can also work well on metal objects with varnishes in beige. If the metal is rusty, it must first be sanded down well and pre-treated with a rust protection primer. Then apply a coat of To Bond & Block so that your paint can adhere well. Garden furniture and garage doors made of metal can be given a completely different, interesting finish with beige varnish. The coloured paint gives the cool material a warm, friendly appearance.

If you want to paint a piece of furniture that has a plastic veneer surface, you can also use beige coloured paint. It is only important that you prime under the varnish with To Bond & Block. This will allow your colours to adhere to a smooth surface.
A piece of furniture often appears to be made of natural wood, but on closer inspection it turns out to be just a wood veneer or even a veneer made of rigid PVC. Simply paint over it with furniture varnish in beige. Our To Bond & Block primer also ensures that the varnish adheres perfectly here.
Beige varnish is not only suitable as furniture varnish or for metals, but also as beige tile varnish. You can use it to paint tiles on the wall and also on the floor. As tiles usually form a smooth surface, priming with To Bond & Block is also recommended here. For tiles on the floor, you should also protect the finished surface with a topcoat such as MissPompadour Topcoat after painting with coloured paint.
Exposed stonework can also be treated very well with beige colours. Beige coloured lacquer can make a boring grey surface look friendly and inviting. And where is it written that screed-grey basement stairs must always remain so dull? With varnish in a warm beige colour, everything looks much friendlier.
With the right MissPompadour Eggshell Varnish quality, you can also use beige varnishes outdoors. This coloured varnish is weatherproof and stable. Just note that even the outdoor paint variant Eggshell Varnish does not tolerate standing water - so make sure that water can always run off the painted surfaces well.
A dark beige shade such as Grey with Linen can decorate your front door. You can use it on plastic and wooden window frames. But beige varnishes can also beautify the walls of your garden shed.
